I did intend to work yesterday, but I spent part of the day reading: The Toff and the deadly priest by John Creasey. I did actually also read a book on GPUs at the same time, so it was not entirely a day of pleasure.. The plot was about a vicar having problems with gangsters in the East End of London.
I enjoyed the book, but I am rapidly forgetting the plot.
Creasey wrote a lot of books, so no doubt he wrote it very quickly. I started reading a book by a more literary author. It takes the guy half a chapter to describe a lift journey in an empty, but expensive lift. Umm. Pulp versus art.
