Last night I finally watched the DVD of the film of
47 Ronin . It was an OK film. They tried to add additional elements to the story with the use of magic and shape shifting, but they never really integrated the elements back into the story. They get magical swords, which they use to fight with, but they don't use the magical parts.
Still I enjoyed watching the film, but it was not as good as an eastern film.
