Spying on myself with a security camera

So my dream has come true. I now own a security camera. I can access the pictures shown on the camera from my phone. Unfortunately all it shows is me looking at my phone. I then start to get paranoid that hackers can hack into the camera and spy on me.

What exciting things would they see -- mostly just me scratching myself in the lower areas, and an old man reading a kindle.

I would be good if I could control it more remotely, such as being able  to turn it off and on.
Now I want one for my office.....
